Help us create a new BIG scoffs
Many of the people reading this will know about Scoffs, but in case your not familiar . We are a small family owned and operated  independent Vegan Cafe in  Leeds. In the last 3 years of trading Scoffs has gone from strength to strength and exceeded all of our expectations. There is a strong community of Vegans in the West Yorkshire  who love our no nonsense approach to Vegan food. We have always aimed to bring our customers good honest Vegan food in a non judgmental and relaxed atmosphere. Two years ago we took over another lease on a 2 floor property just over the road, we have invested over £30,000 to create an amazing basement kitchen - in which we make all of our larger buffets, the Christmas food and all the bulk order food we supply. The "shop" floor has been left and we have been debating what to do with this space for a long time.
Anyone who comes to Scoffs at peak times knows that its a small space and people are often waiting for tables, I know that some people even avoid  coming to scoffs at busy times for fear of being turned away as there is no room. So.... the most sensible thing to do is create a bigger space!
Big scoffs will be a relaxed, 34 seat, cosy diner, offering top quality vegan food. We will host events and we will continue to support local community initiatives and animal charities. We need the funding to pay for building materials, electricians, plumbers, tables, new flooring and a new coffee machine.
